LORENZ SJ7A -1000
This machine is set up for shaping and drawing spur and helical gears using the
hobbing process. By means of a special device, gears can also be produced using
the hand-piece method.
Cutting wheels with a pitch circle diameter of approx. 4" = 100 m/m are
normally used. As the machine works according to the hobbing method, all
numbers of teeth can be cut with just one cutting wheel of a particular module.
